Shirley (Westman) Wallace, 69 of Niota, passed away the morning of Tuesday January 23, 2018 surrounded by family.
Shirley was born June 3, 1948 in Minot North Dakota to Andy and Selma Westman. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Wallace, Brother, Richard Westman and Parents, Andy and Selma Westman.
She was an active member of Niota Methodist Church and a member of the choir and a volunteer at Miss Sephie's.
She was a member of the Athenian Chapter of O.E.S 159, and the Red Hats Royal Stars 79768. Shirley was a proud military spouse for 26 years and devoted wife and mother. She loved to travel, spend time with her family, work in her yard along with many other hobbies.
Survivors include her Daughter, Pauline (Greg) Taylor of Somerville Alabama; Daughter Jennifer (Mike) Conner of Garland Texas; Five grandchildren: Michael and Tara Taylor, Matthew (Brianna Steitz) Conner and Lauren (Dylan Pike) Conner, Brittany (Dillon) Muzzuca; Three great grand-daughters: Charli Rae Taylor, Hallie Steitz, and Emery Conner; Sister, Sharon (Don) Reiswig; Brother, Roger (Grace) Westman, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday 12pm. At Niota Methodist Church with Pastor David Neel officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Taylor, Matthew Conner, Dillion Mazzuca, Dylan Pike, Matthew Wallace, Jeremy Wallace.
The body will lie in state from 11 am to 12pm Saturday at the church. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm with the Eastern Star funeral to follow at 7pm.
